Chocolate!!

Some may call me crazy or obsessed, I just consider myself to be thinking of the future. I love love love Easter candy (It doesn't love me, but that is another story) So when the stores started putting out Easter candy before Valentines Day was even over with I started my search for my favorite Easter candy. Now my favorite candy is sometimes hard to find, why?? Because I think it is a lot of other people's favorite too. Once the store gets these in, if you don't buy multiple bags when you see them, chances are when you go back... and you will go back, they will be all gone. So I went a little crazy and got all stocked up for the year, to hold me over until next Easter. They freeze well and I do have the discipline to only eat a few at a time so a bag will last for a while. What kind of candy am I talking about you ask?

Cadbury Mini Eggs. Not the cadbury creme filled center eggs (although I do like these too, especially frozen) but the chocolate eggs with a crunchy candy coating. I love them and I haven't really seem them at other times of the year so I look forward to the Easter season (for religious reasons too) to suppress my chocolate cravings. I just won't tell Matt how much I spent or where my stash is hidden!! So now I ask all of you out there, what is your favorite candy/treat??

She's finally ours!

I just made the last payment from Paige's birth!! Yay!! It's offical, she is finally ours. We don't owe any more on her, so we can keep her! I'm glad because I really have grown attached to her and want to keep her around for a while. It sure is a nice feeling when you can pay off something and know you are working to pay off debts. I hate being in debt, but it seems like it is almost unavoidable. Now if we can just work on getting our vehicles paid for we will be in good shape!

Parker needs a haircut desperately, but he fights to not have one. I have to be in just the right mood to make him get one!!

She is kind of having a crazy hair day. But that makes the picture even more fun!



I took this picture of my little girl the other day and I think it is so dang cute of her. I had to share it with everyone. She is now 10 months old and is crawling all over the place. She is walking along furniture, but doesn't dare let go and try walking on her own. She is such an easy going little girl and is content to just be where everyone else is. She love to follow Parker around and play with him. That helps me to get a few things done around the house. We love her so much!!!! Whenever I take a picture of Paige, Parker says "Me me" so I take one of him and them together. He is growing up so fast too and keeps me so busy. The other day I caught him coloring on the wall in the living room. Then I noticed that his bedroom door was colored all over on the back side. I would have never saw it, except he shut the door while I was in there and I noticed. I couldn't really punish him for it because I have no idea when he did it. So I told him that was naughty and that he couldn't have crayons any more until he got older. (how mean huh) He is always getting into mischief, and is a ball of energy, but we love him too!!!!

5 years ago today!

5 years ago today I was so excited to be going ring shopping with Matt. He had just gotten home from his mission (about 3 weeks before) and I knew that we were going to get married. I was thinking we would look at some rings and then in a week or so he would propose. Well when he came to the house to pick me up that evening he surprised me by popping the question before we even left. He had gone and picked out the perfect ring already and obviously I said yes!! 6 weeks later we were married and it has flown by! I am truly so lucky to have met Matt and to have him in my life. He is the most wonderful husband and father and I am so grateful to him for all that he does to support our family. I know he has worked so hard with his schooling and working 2 jobs, he isn't home much and I know it is as hard on him as it is on the rest of us. He treats me so wonderfully and I know he loves me. Sometimes I don't tell him enough that I love him, so this post is for him I LOVE YOU MATT!!! Happy Valentines Day Babe!

I can hardly wait

Only 52 more days until our vacation. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I have managed to get Paige somewhat weaned, I am thinking she will be totally weaned in about a week. YAY!!!! I am so liking the bottle right now!! My mom is getting ready to watch the kids too, she is a little nervous about if they will be okay spending the night with her. Parker tried to stay the night over there about a month ago and came home at 10:30 because he wanted mommy and daddy. So I hope they will be good for her and that she will be okay when we get home. Everyday I think I get more and more excited, this is the first time I will be going out of the country and out of the western states. It will be a much needed break from everyday life. I think Matt is excited as well, he doesn't let on that much if he is. I know he has to be somewhat excited because he keeps asking me questions every once in a while about the cruise, so I know he is thinking about it. He just doesn't say out loud that he is "so excited".

I can't believe it is February 5th already. January flew by so quickly. I haven't been that great at updating. After posting every few days in December it seems like we have such a boring life after the Holidays. I am looking forward to spring and being outside with the kids. We are all feeling a little cabin fever. I know it will be here before long!!
