The Reveal!

After the appointment, and after the secret delivery to the bakery, I busied myself with getting things ready for the party. I made a variety of appitizers including little smokies, spinach dip and bread, tortillas pinwheels with salsa, ham and pickle roll ups, ham and pepperoncini pepper roll ups, ham and dilly bean rollups, pink lemonade, blue raspberry lemonade and an assortment of pink and blue candies. It turned out pretty cute. As guest arrived they signed their name on a page designating if they thought the baby was going to be a boy or a girl. The list was quite a bit longer for a girl! After everyone had had something to eat and we were sure all that were going to be there were there we handed out the cupcakes to everyone with specific instructions not to bite into it yet. We made sure everyone had one and then on the count of three we all took a bit to reveal the gender! It was so exciting and the anticipation about killed me. I took a huge bite to make sure that I got into the middle to see the filling. IT WAS PINK!!! I let out the biggest scream of excitement!! I was absolutely thrilled!! I had been having feelings that it was a little girl, but I wasn't sure if that was wishful thinking because I did want another little girl or of I was having motherly instincts. I tried to tell myself too, not to be disappointed if it was blue, but I was so happy that it was pink!!! It was one of the funnest parties we have had and without a doubt probably the most memorable. I wish I had done something like that with the other kids. Paige was very excited to learn that she would be getting a sister and Parker said, "I don't care the next one will be a boy" ummm NO! there will not be a next one Parker! Paige was sure the we were going to continue our pattern Boy(Matt), Girl(Erika), Boy(Parker), Girl(Paige), Boy(Paxten), Girl(.....). And we are so happy that she was right. We can't wait to meet our new little girl and to welcome into our family. Yes, she will have a "P" name. We actually already have it picked out, we have for a few years, we just need to agree on a middle name!!

Ultrasound Pictures

On the 8th of April we made a special appointment to find out the gender of baby #4. Here are some of the ultrasound pictures. I told the ultrasound technician that we wanted to find out what the gender was, but we didn't want to know at that moment. That we were having a party later that night and wanted to find out the same time as our family and friends. So we looked the other way while she looked around and found out the gender, I promise we did not peak! AS much as I wanted too, I knew what a fun suprise it would be for everyone. She printed out the pictures and put them on some cute stationary in a sealed envelope. Along with that she wrote the gender on a piece a paper and put it in another envelope so that I could deliver that paper to the bakery for the cupcakes. I had make arrangements with the bakery in Ridley's and they made 3 dozen white cupcakes ahead of time for me. After I delivered the envelope the baker lady would look inside the card at the gender and then fill the 3 dozen cupcakes with either pink or blue filling. She would then top the cupcakes with white icing and sprinkles so that we would not be able to see the color until we bit into the middle of the cupcake. It about killed Matt and I as we drove home from the appointment knowing that we had the envelope with the gender right in our hands!!

Gender Reveal Party

Because I knew this is our last baby, I wanted to do something fun a special to celebrate. Gender reveal parties are becoming quite popular and I wanted to join in on that trend. I sent out these cute invitations to a few of our close family and friends and couldn't wait until we would find out if we are going to have another little boy or girl in our family.

Paige Turns 5!

Paige turned 5 on the 12th of April, but we celebrated her birthday on the 6th because I was going to be out of town on her actual birthday (scrapbooking with my mom and Charyn). Paige didn't seem to mind at all that we were celebrating early, especially since that meant that she got to open presents earlier. We had a few family and friends over to help us celebrate with dinner and cake and ice cream. We made hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings, potato salad, veggie tray, fruit tray, chips, and soda. This year Paige wanted a Lalaloopsey cake and I was able to talk her into just the face of a Lalaloopsey. I think it turned out very well and Paige loved it so much!! I makes me so happy to see how excited they are when they see the finished cake and love it! Paige was spoiled for her birthday and got a variety of great things. Doc McStuffins dress up, Doc McStuffins doctors kit with Lambie and the big book of boo-boos. She got several new Lalaloopsey dolls, a cowgirl hat (that she had to have when we were in Cal-Ranch), an itunes gift card, a new outfit, dress up clothes, ballet slippers, a new barbie, and a few other things. She loved them all and we were very appreciative of those that came and showed their love and support for our sweet and sassy little girl!!

17 Weeks

17 weeks along on the 5th of April.
We get to find out the gender of the baby on the 8th!! Can hardly wait!

Keller Egg Hunt

Easter Sunday was a day full of great fun. The Easter Bunny visited and then we got to go to Grandpa and Grandma C's house and have another egg hunt with the entire Keller family. They hide so many eggs, that usually the kids baskets are overflowing with eggs. This year was no exception, the kids got our year supply of candy and had a great time racing to find eggs.

Easter Sunday Dressed

I try to take a picture every year on Easter Sunday. My kids all looked so cute on this Sunday morning and I couldn't help but take a few pictures. Paige of course posed for the camera! I love these three so much!!

Easter Morning

The kids were once again spoiled by the Easter Bunny. They each got an assortment of candy and prizes in their baskets and were eager to play with them and eat the treats.

Easter Party at Aunt Marilyn's

It has become a tradition that our family looks forward to every year, Easter party at Aunt Marilyn's. The kids were all excited to go and play with cousins and go on an Easter egg hunt. It was beautiful weather that day and we all enjoyed being outside in the sunshine. The kids were egg hunting pros and all filled their baskets with goodies and they each got a prize out of Marilyn's prize basket. I'd say the day with a success and so much fun. I have the greatest family and I an so lucky to have so much fun when we get together!

14 Weeks

14 weeks along this pregnancy on the 15th of March!
I am feeling tired all the time still and the morning sickness is still around. My gag reflex is out of control and almost anything can make me gag and want to throw up. Overall I am feeling pretty good and have not gained any weight yet, although it looks like it, the baby is pushing it's way out front and my poor body knows exactly what to do after 3 other kids.

Paxten's 2 Yr. Photos

At the beginning of May I got Paxten's 2 year photos taken, so I was only about 3 months behind, but it got done. He was a litle stinker and would not hold still or let me go for Misty to take the picture. I was about to give up, when Charyn arrived with Zander to get some photos of him as well. Paxten was so excited to see his cousin that he finally started to smile. And of course at the end of the session he was all smiles and would sit on the chair, and played in the cube. But it had to be HIS idea. I was thrilled that she was able to get a few good smiles out of my little guy, and I must admit I think he is pretty darn cute!!
