I just read thru a friends blog and am thinking I need a little more of a schedule in my life. I always thought I was an organized person, but after 2 kids and them being the ones that rule the house I am feeling like I have lost the organization battle. How do you get 2 kids to bed before 10:00 at night?? And how do you get them both to take naps at the same time,(or even 1 nap for Parker all day long). I just take one day at a time and feel lucky if I get a shower in during the day sometime!!!!

Don't think it is easy. Chris is 9 1/2 months now and he is finally sleeping through the night. About 2 weeks ago he started to take naps on a schedule. He has been on a feeding schedule for sometime now, but sleeping was a completely different story. Josh has been really good about his sleeping schedule for a long time...although you have to face the changes in nap times. Going from 3 to 2 to 1. I found that no matter how late at night I put them to bed, they were still up before 7:00 in the morning. Sleeping in wasn't an option so I started to make them go to bed earlier (I guess I learned that with Josh and kept the same idea with Chris).
I made this schedule so that I would actually sanitize my house instead of just pick things up. I was also tired of being a boring and depressed mother. I needed something to get me to get things done and to make time to play with the boys (you know, instead of just blogging all of the time).
Oh, I also have showers when Dan is home. That is why I get up before the boys. I always get the shower done first thing. I guess I just made that priority.
Anyway, hopefully this helps you. I want to see you again sometime. Gas is so expensive that it is hard to say I'll just come up on a whim, but someday we will get together.
Good luck!
