Swimming

Matt finally had a Monday night off in I don't know how long it has been. I thought it would be fun to something fun with the kids for family home evening. What to do around here, there aren't that many choices. So we decided to take the kids swimming. It was super cheap $6 for us to get in - half price because Matt is a city employee. So we couldn't get a better activity. The water could have been a little warmer. Both the kids were shivering before we got out. We had a fun time together and Parker really seemed to like it. This morning when he woke up he came into our room and the first thing he asked me was "mommy swimming again?" I could tell that he had a great time and can't stop thinking about it. Matt and I decided that we would have to things like that more often. The kids both slept pretty good. Maybe that is the key...wear them out before they go to bed.

One a side note we are going on our cruise in 61 DAYS. We got our passports and our plane tickets and everything else is in order. Now it is just waiting and anticipating. The only thing that I am worried about is weaning Paige before I go. She will not take a bottle. I am getting nervous, I wanted her to be weaned for about a month before we go so she would be used to a bottle or cup. Any suggestions on what to do???

I was happy to see the swimming pool, it brought back many memories for me! Glad it helped your children sleep. I am so jealous that you are going on a cruise, good for you!

And I added you!

I've heard that if you put sugar or sugar water on the nipple that a baby will take to a bottle a lot easier. Who knows! It's worth a try!
