Spring is in the air

The weather had been nice here for about a week and we were all enjoying it. Parker loves to be outside and is so excited to start golfing. Well I took him out a few times when the weather seemed to be a little warmer and he loved it. Then of course it had to happen, it snowed!!! Just when we think Spring is around the corner the nasty snow has to come back and ruin it. It has been cold, wet, and muddy now for almost a week. I am happy that the snow didn't last and has already melted, but those days were hard to be inside after Parker had had so much fun outside. We can't wait for true spring weather to get here.
I have a doctors appointment later today, I only have 6 weeks left in this pregancy and I can hardly wait to have her here and to not be pregnant anymore. I have been experiencing some heartburn lately and it isn't so great. Just one of the joys or being pregnant I guess. I think I have been driving Matt crazy lately because I am going thru that "nesting" phase and I want to get so many things done around the house before the baby is born. He doesn't think we need to rush about doing them. I don't think he realizes that 6 weeks will go by fast and I don't think he realizes that I want to get them done now so I have the energy. Who knows how I will feel at 38 weeks, or even if I will go that long. So I guess I have to keep bugging him about it.
Golf season officially starts next week here and Matt can hardly stand it. I know that he will be out on the course every chance he gets. I can't complain too much, at least he is getting fresh air and some excercise. I am hoping that he will be able to take Parker more often this year and allow me some down time, somewhat. He is getting a season pass this year again. He has convinced me that he should take advantage of the fact that he is a student and gets a discount otherwise the pass would cost more. I guess he goes enough in the first 2 months to pay for the pass anyways so I guess it is worth it. What a boring birthday surprise. Every year he knows that is what he is getting. At least I know he will use it!!
Parker is almost 2 1/2 and still not potty trained. I decided that I couldn't handle trying to potty train him while being so pregnant. That on top of the fact that Parker can't communicate well enough to tell us when he has to go or be able to pull his pants on and off. I guess we will have to start working on that soon after the baby is born. I don't want 2 in diapers for very long. It gets too expensive. Wish me luck!!!
