I have been thinking for quite some time about cutting Paige's hair. I wasn't sure I wanted to cut it short, but I was tired of it always being in her eyes, and she is getting to the point that it is really hard from me to get her to sit still to put elastics in. So today I had had enough and decided to cut it in to a little bob. I gave her bangs and cut the back and side to match the length of the top layers. I didn't really cut a lot off, but just evened it out and made it look fuller and thicker. She has such fine hair that before it looked all straggly (is that a word) and uneven. But now I must saw it is adorable. I was kind of sad to cut it knowing that as soon as I did it would change her from looking like a baby to a little girl. But she sure is cute and I think it will be so much better and easier to take care of. I will still be able to put in an elastic or two to make pigtails, but it won't be constantly in her eyes! She did really well holding still for the most part. I put in a Tinkerbell Movie and let her watch that while I cut it. It took about 5 minutes to cut, not very much hair to deal with. It was after the initial cut that she started being naughty. She did want to sit still for me to dry and curl it. But I had to finish the cut, so I could see how cute it was and most importantly to make sure it was even. There may be a few pieces her and there that aren't quite even, but for the most part it turned out great. What can I expect from a 21 month old! I can't believe how big she is getting! Time is going by so fast!

Paige's 1st Haircut

OH MY GOSH!!! She looks so big. I love, love the hair cut. Good job. I never noticed how long it was and how full her hair is. So pretty. We need to hang out so I can see it in person. I am totally sad that our girls are going to be 2 soon.
It looks so cute. She's a little lady now.
Holy Cow - too cute!! I wish I could see it in person.
